24 hour cancellation policy? NOT WORKING!

I am sharing this and tried it all. No results yet. It's fascinating that people just book an appointment and not bother to even cancel 24 hours ahead or ever! Common courtesy. Right? I understand emergencies happen but unless we are totally unconscious we can type "sorry can't make it". You kind of assume at this day and age with all the advanced technology and fast communication choices, it probably takes 10 seconds to cancel.
I even give everyone my cell # and confirm texting 3 times and still get No Shows! Is there any way to educate the public that "No Show" appointment is disrespectful and hurt businesses? Any suggestions? Please share this so maybe we can come up with a solution one day. Why not? One person at a time.
