The best way to start a meditation session is to sit on your favorite, chair or sofa, close your eyes, disconnect from the world and start with deep breathing and focusing on your breath. When the levels of these hormones are lower, the blood flow to the skin improves which brings more nutrients to the skin and toxins and waste naturally detoxifies, resulting in a healthier, more radiant complexion.
Physiological benefits to meditation include reduced stress; lower heart rate, and decreased blood pressure. The benefits experienced in 30 minutes of meditation exceeds even a deep sleep and minimizes wear and tear on the body and ultimately to a healthier and happier life.
For the majority of people dealing with problematic skin doesn’t stop at the skin’s surface. For many, lower self-esteem, self-expression, and self-worth to name a few are the most painful part of dealing with acne and its scars.
While medicine and skincare products deal with the issues on the surface of the skin temporarily, daily meditation soothes the underlying issues that could be boiling on the inside.
Regular meditation is a practice worth trying for at least 30 days. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
